Digital Footprint/ Digital Citizenship
A digital footprint is what you want people to see you as in the future. Like you wouldn't want to be known as a evil person that robbed a bank and put dirty pictures up online. Like I want to be known for my photography and That I won awards.
Digital Citizenship means that you won't bully others. Say, like someone put their work up on google, You won't comment on it saying "Well thats stupid" It's pretty much just being nice.
A positive example of digital citizenship is when someone put their poem on facebook, Maybe it wasn't the BEST poem in the world but you don't comment on it saying, "Thats so stupid, why are you even trying?" That would just crush their dreams. Say that was really good and encourage them.
A negative example of digital citizenship is when someone put a video of them singing a cover of a song, Maybe they're singing wasn't the greatest you've heard. You still don't say that it sucks. You would either not comment on it at all or comment on it saying, "So far so good! Keep going!"
Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
My name is Emily Genevieve Scott. I live in Viola Iowa. I live with my mom and dad. I have 4 pets. Zach, Cody, Mrs. Norris, and Oliver. Zach and Cody are guinea pigs. Mrs. Norris is a cat (We call her Baby cat) and Oliver is my pup. I love to play basketball and I love to read. When I read I feel like I'm in a whole 'nother world. I love to go outside and take pictures. I'm in to photography.
